Four Point Inspection

Many insurance companies require a four-point inspection before you get or maintain your home insurance coverage. A “Four-Point Insecption” Is ordered by insurance companies for new policies or renewals after a home reaches a certain age. An inspection typically takes about 30 minutes, however, if you buy an older home you might be required other inspections as well. 

A “Four Point Inspection” focuses on the four main systems of a home:

1. Roofing: Roof covering and roof shingles

2. Electrical system: Electrical wiring and electrical panels

3. Plumbing system: Hot water heater and existing water damage

4. HVAC system: Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
